
A Chartered Director with the Institute of Directors, Jeremy's career spans 30 years, with broad experience at NED, CEO, MD, COO and business-unit level roles across a range of UK / European Financial Services and Commercial businesses.
Jeremy has excellent leadership and Board skills, with hands on experience in all major disciplines – strategic planning, Partnerships & JVs, business leadership, marketing, sales, client management, customer service, compliance, operations, financial & business planning, governance, IT and programme management.
Jeremy is experienced at working in large, small, private, public, mutual and partnership businesses, and has been member of a range of committee roles including audit, compliance, risk (Chair), remuneration, as well as various Trustee and Treasurer roles.
Jeremy currently holds a number of Board Appointments including NHS Lothian, Scottish Government Insolvency Agency, a major Bank, and a leading Wealth Management Platform business. He also supports the Princes Youth Business Trust (Scotland) as both a panel assessor (assessing grant and loan applications for business start ups) and business mentor (advising new business start ups in their formative initial 2 years). Jeremy is also a Business Mentor for the Scottish Chamber of Commerce, supporting established businesses
In his previous Executive career Jeremy was CEO at a leading UK niche alternative investment manager, Director of a UK FSA regulated London trade body, and Non Executive Partner on the Advisory Board for a UK BioTech / Life Sciences venture capital fund.
European experience includes Director roles of two Luxembourg based Fund Management Platforms, and holding an Advisory Board position on a German Family Office Wealth Management Advisory business.
